Creating a look for the Latinidad
Somos is Droga5’s ERG for its Latine employees and their allies. The Latinidad is a large diverse group of people representing multiple regions and languages. And even with all the variation, there’s something that connects them all. It’s hard to pin down. It’s more of a vibe. We created Vive La Vibra to capture that essence and celebrate all the ways in which our differences are also our connection.

The Somos community at Droga5 quickly became one of my favorite things about going into the office and I jumped at the chance to lead the visual identity for our Latine Heritage Month programming. Because this was an internal project we had to manage and produce all the work ourselves. I led a team of creatives through concept development and execution.
It was a fun project where we got to tap into some of our favorite things about our culture. Like creating custom papel picado to hang at happy hour and creating murals of our favorite sayings on every floor. I created all the motion assets myself and built out a motion library for the video series we ran on social media.
